With over two decades at the intersection of art, medicine, and innovation, Jeff Hazelton is a pioneer in using XR and visual storytelling to transform healthcare communication.
Before founding Captain VR, Jeff co-founded multiple ventures focused on medical visualization and immersive education, helping leading institutions and pharmaceutical companies translate complex science into human understanding.

A radiation therapy preparation tool created in collaboration with Ringling College of Art and Design, bridging therapeutic visuals and understanding of treatment through immersive design.
Adventures with Mac (2024–2025)
An interactive educational experience designed for children at Speros FL Proton Therapy Center to help them understand and feel comfortable with therapy procedures.
Oncological Battleground — The Art of Cancer Therapy
A 3D canvas series depicting the body’s internal battle against cancer through the lens of modern medicine.
Each piece transforms the science of cancer therapy into a visual narrative — revealing how targeted treatments and the body’s natural defenses work together in a dynamic struggle for balance, renewal, and life.Intelligent Synergy — The RAIA Partnership
